Alexander Gibson received two land grants in the Clarencetown area of Long Island: 100 acres on 2 January 1789 and 80 acres on 3 January 1789. The grant states “Loyalist.”
An Alexander Gibson is listed in The New Loyalist Index, Volume 5, as settling in the Bahamas.
