Grants
D-146 (80 acres, 21 Sept of unknown year)
William McAlpine. Origin: Loyalist.
William was most likely a captain in the British Royal Guides and Pioneers during the American Revolution, serving under Colonel Beverly Robinson. Interestingly, Long Island grantee Second Lieutenant Alexander McDonld also served in the same military group.
McAlpine was granted 80 acres in the Miley area of Long Island on 21 September, but the year is not specified. It was bounded by the land of George Braker, John Holland, James Bruce, and vacant land.
