John Lewis Frazer. Origin: Old Family Name
John Lewis Frazer/Fraser received a grant of 100 acres on 2 January 1789 in what is now the Miley area of Long Island.
The surname Frazer (Fraser) appears in the 1740 Census. A William Fraser’s will, probated in 1743, lists a son John who we believe is the subject Long Island grantee.
