Elijah Smith. Origin: Old Family Name
The Smith surname is found abundantly in early Bahamian records -- including the Censuses of 1731, 1734, and 1740. The surname is also found in early Bermuda records.
Elijah was granted 47 acres in the Stella Maris area of Long Island, but we have not yet located the grant.
