Francis Kirk. Origin: Old Family Name.
Francis Kirk was granted 100 acres in the Burrows Harbour area of Long Island on 20 February 1790. We were not able to find this exact name in any 18th century records, or in published secondary sources, so our classification of Kirk as an “Old Family Name” is based on the fact that we identified the Kirk last name in old Anglican Church Diocese records from 1700-1776.
