Land Grants

John Bullard. Origin: Old Inhabitant.

A John Bullard wrote his will in 1760, and it was probated in 1762 on New Providence. He is listed as a shipwright, with a wife Frances and daughter Catherine. A John Bullard married a woman named Mary 11 June 1752 on New Providence; it is possible that this John Bullard was the son of John (senior) and Frances.

John Bullard was granted 120 acres in The Bight, Long Island on 23 August 1790. The land was bounded by that of John Fox, John Drudge, and on two sides by the sea.
