Joseph Lightbourn (e). Origin: Old Inhabitant.

Joseph was granted 140 acres of land 13 Aug. 1789 in the current settlement of Burnt Ground, without mention of him being a Loyalist, and with only a two year waiver on quit rent payments. The land was bounded by land of William Johnston, Abraham Pratt, the sea, and Jew Fish Creek.

A John Lightbourne witnessed the will of John Bethel in 1752.
