William Drudge. Origin: Old Inhabitant.

William Drudge was born on New Providence in 1764; however, we have the same birth year for John Drudge, so one may be incorrect. William received 80 acres of land in the Bowers area of Long Island on 15 July 1788, but his land was listed as “vacant” by the time Josiah Tatnall’s map of 1792 was produced. We believe he was only on Long Island for a very short time.
