Give a brief description of the inhabitant. The man. The legend. Do we know any significant details about these guys? If yes, great! Include that here. If not, then this can just be ignored.

William Charleton. Origin: Other
William Charleton was a resident of East Florida in 1783. He had been lieutenant of the 4th Regiment of His Majesty’s Royal Regiment Artillery. We did not find a Charlton in Loyalist of the Southern Campaign. Charlton appears to have been an early Florida resident (i.e. not an American Loyalist) who fled when Spain took over the province.
Charleton was granted 380 acres of land in the Morris area of Long Island on 19 May 1788—this was bounded by the land of Loyalist John Morris.
