John Tully. Origin: Unknown

John was granted 83 aces in the Stevens acres of Long Island on 20 June 1789. It was bounded by that of James Stevens, John Denniston and Taylor, and the sea.

His grant does not state “John Tully, Loyalist” and he was exempt from paying quit rent on the land for ten years. On the Lands and Surveys Map his name is written “John Jolly”.
